When Nicole reached out about a brand-style photoshoot, I was really looking forward to it because I would get another opportunity for a brand shoot, and most importantly, I would get to see her again!

Nicole and I met through Instagram. I guess you could say she slid into my DMs haha! I attended an event hosted by Priscilla Shirer and she was one of the leads on her team managing the event. She was looking for a photographer and came across some of my photos on Instagram and asked if I'd volunteer to take photos of the event. Of course, I said yes! Keep in mind - I was starting off with my photography business and was still very much of a beginner.

Fast forward a few years later, I've been one of the photographers for the event since '16 and it's all because Nicole saw something in me and gave me the opportunity. Every time, she was always so kind and made sure I was taken care of, which is sometimes rare when you work a gig.

She's multitalented - an artist, designer and the best plant lady I know. She relocated to Nashville and is living her best life, but us Dallas peeps are glad she still calls our city home! Check out the amazing work she's doing below.
